This extruder is optimized for the Mosquito / Mosquito Magnum hotends with an integrated torque locking system to make the interface extremely sturdy and make nozzle changes a breeze. The housing parts are professionally SLS-printed in nylon for maximum strength and precision. It supports only a filament diameter of 1.75 mm.

Optimized Gear Ratio

The Bondtech BMG-M uses a 3:1 internal gear ratio combined with precision CNC-machined drive gears made of hardened steel to provide you with a compact powerhouse for all your applications. Whether you need high-resolution prints with small nozzles or high-flow prints with large nozzles—the optimized gear ratio, combined with our industry-leading drive gears, delivers unmatched thrust and lightning-fast retraction in a lightweight and compact package.

Our unique Dual-Drive technology ensures uninterrupted material flow without fear of shredding or slipping, even under the most demanding conditions. Bondtech users around the world will confirm that the extruders operate flawlessly, with unmatched precision, and without damaging or degrading the filament—even during prints with thousands of retracts.

Multi-Material Capability

Our BMG extruder feeds all materials with high reliability, from smooth nylons and soft TPU/TPE filaments to highly rigid and sometimes brittle carbon-filled high-strength materials. The extruder is designed for 1.75 mm filaments but has been tested to ensure performance with filaments ranging from 1.5 mm to 2.0 mm, enabling high reliability regardless of the tolerance of the filament used. The filament path runs entirely through the extruder body, and the housing maintains tight tolerances with the drive gears, reducing the risk of filament misfeeds when the hot end experiences increased backpressure or when highly flexible filaments are used.

Adjustable Tension

With the knurled screw tensioner, the user can fine-tune the pressure exerted on the filament by the drive gears. This allows you to adjust the pressure to your preferences and optimize it for the type of material being used.
