Bondtech Direct Drive System at IGO3D
This all-in-one solution is easy to install and ready to use. Bondtech’s DDS utilizes our unique dual-drive technology with an internal gear ratio of 3:1 and 415 steps per mm. The DDS also features an E3D V6 hot end, which allows for seamless printing of a wide range of filaments available on the market with reduced stringing and clogging at processing temperatures up to 285°C.
The housing design has also been thoroughly researched and tested. Its geometry enables effective cooling of the hot end by optimizing the placement of the Sunon 4010 axial fan and the alignment of the cooling airflow. In addition to cooling the hot end, it also achieves more effective part cooling through the use of a Sunon 5015 radial fan and a fan shroud that directs the airflow to the tip of the nozzle. The filament sensor housing has also been redesigned. You can now securely attach it to the CR-10S with a sturdy grip. The steel ball we placed under the lever on the filament path allows you to feed material in the direction of the chamber during loading and unloading. A lot of work has gone into the management and setup of the power cables. Everything is plug-and-play. You don’t need to cut or solder anything. The old cables and components that had to be removed remain intact and can be reused.
Multi-material capability
Our Bondtech extruder feeds all materials with high reliability, from smooth nylons and soft TPU/TPE filaments to highly rigid and sometimes brittle carbon-filled high-strength materials. The extruder is designed for 1.75 mm filaments but has been tested to ensure performance with filaments ranging from 1.5 mm to 2.0 mm, enabling high reliability regardless of the filament’s tolerance. With the V6 all-metal hot end from E3D, users can reliably print high-temperature materials (up to 285°C), and it offers additional functionality for working with soft and flexible filaments. This combination opens up a wide range of possibilities for your Creality3D CR-10S.

BL Touch
Bondtech’s direct drive system for the CR-10S is BL Touch ready. The housing includes mounting holes for attaching this popular bed leveling sensor, which is used by Creality3D in many models. You can 3D print a mount designed by Greg3D and screw it in to secure the BL Touch.
High Reliability and Performance
This direct drive system from Bondtech is a high-performance extruder with a 1.75 mm direct drive and all-metal hot end for the Creality3D CR-10s. Bondtech’s unique Dual-Drive technology in the BMG extruder, combined with a genuine E3D V6 hot end, results in a direct-drive extruder with smooth material feeding and enables the use of a wider range of materials. The housing parts are 3D printed with PA12 (polyamide) for maximum strength and precision using industrial-grade SLS technology.

Bondtech’s Direct Drive System (DDS) for the CR-10S was developed to offer users more options—different materials; higher flow rates and/or wider nozzles; thinner layers—and to achieve higher print quality. The DDS features an integrated BMG (Bondtech Mini Geared) extruder with our unique Dual-Drive technology and the well-known V6 all-metal hot end from E3D. The DDS housing design provides effective hot end cooling. With a gear ratio of 3:1, high-resolution prints with small nozzles or high-flow prints with larger nozzles can be achieved.

Updated filament sensor housing
The filament sensor mount has been redesigned to ensure a better fit on the printer and now uses a steel ball so that the filament can pass through the sensor during both loading and unloading.
