eSun ABS+ Filament

The eSun ABS+ filament is a modified ABS filament designed for strong and durable 3D-printed parts. Compared to conventional ABS, it offers improved mechanical properties, reduced odor, and a lower shrinkage rate. This makes the material particularly suitable for demanding applications in FDM and FFF 3D printing where stability, heat resistance, and impact strength are required.

High toughness and strong mechanical properties

eSun ABS+ impresses with its high toughness and strong impact resistance. This allows for the production of robust, durable components that remain reliable even under mechanical stress. The filament is designed for functional parts where traditional PLA materials reach their limits. At the same time, the material’s excellent stability ensures long-lasting performance in technical and industrial applications.

Reduced odor and improved printing properties

The ABS+ filament has a low VOC content and emits a significantly reduced odor during printing compared to traditional ABS. In addition, the material exhibits low shrinkage and is less prone to warping or cracking. These properties improve printability and support clean results for technical models, enclosures, and durable functional parts.

Processing notes

ABS+ materials should be processed with sufficient heat retention. For stable print results, we recommend using a 3D printer with a closed build chamber. Since ABS+ cools down slightly more slowly, a strategically placed fan can improve the print quality. Additionally, it may help to reduce the overhang angle of the model or lower the print speed.
