Magigoo Glide PA 250 ml is a specialized print bed adhesive for professional FDM and FFF 3D printing with polyamide filaments, nylon materials, and fiber-reinforced PA variants. The Pro formulation was developed for demanding engineering filaments such as PA6, PA12, PA66, PA-CF, and PA-GF, which place high demands on print bed adhesion due to their shrinkage and adhesion properties.

Polyamide is one of the most important engineering plastics in additive manufacturing, but it is known for warping, edge peeling, and poor adhesion to conventional build plates. Magigoo Glide PA ensures a stable bond between the part and the print bed, thereby supporting reliable results for large, load-bearing, and function-critical PA parts.

Polyamide is frequently used in industrial 3D printing for high-performance functional parts, engineering prototypes, fixtures, and end-use applications. Materials such as PA6, PA12, and PA66 offer good mechanical properties but place high demands on the print bed, process control, and release agents.

Fiber-reinforced variants in particular, such as PA-CF and PA-GF, can be challenging to process due to their material properties and the stresses that arise during printing. Magigoo Glide PA has been specifically formulated for this group of materials and improves adhesion to the build plate throughout the entire printing process.

Reliable adhesion to prevent warping and edge peeling

Nylon filaments tend to shrink and warp during 3D printing. Especially with large parts, long print times, or complex geometries, corners may lift or parts may detach completely from the build plate.

Magigoo Glide PA provides the necessary print bed adhesion at elevated bed temperatures and supports a stable first layer. This allows for more controlled production of large and complex PA printed parts, with reduced warping and improved dimensional accuracy.

Easy Removal After Cooling

During the printing process, Magigoo Glide PA ensures a firm hold on the print bed. Once the build plate has cooled completely, the adhesion weakens significantly. Typically, printed parts can be removed with minimal effort at temperatures below approximately 40 °C—often simply by lifting them gently.

This reduces the need for tools or mechanical scraping and protects both the printed part and the print surface.

Efficient Application on Large Build Areas

The 250-ml bottle is designed for professional users, print farms, and large-format printing processes. The Glide bottle with a nozzle tip allows for quick application onto the build plate and is optimized for even distribution when used with the separately available Magigoo Glide Roller.

This allows the adhesive to be applied reproducibly as a thin, even layer—particularly advantageous for large build platforms and recurring print jobs with polyamide filaments.

Water-based, odorless, and easy to clean

Magigoo Glide PA is water-based, odorless, and non-toxic. Residue can be easily removed from the build plate after printing with water or a damp cloth. For consistent results, it is recommended to clean the print surface and reapply the adhesive after each print session.

How to Use Magigoo Glide PA

Preparation: Shake the bottle well for 3–5 seconds before use.
Application: Twist off the clear cap, open the nozzle, and apply a few drops or a thin line to the clean, cool build plate.
Spread: Use the Magigoo Glide Roller (sold separately) to roll it out into a thin, even layer.
Printing: Heat the print bed according to the specifications of the polyamide filament being used, then start the print.
Removal: Allow the print bed to cool completely until adhesion subsides and the part can be easily removed.
Cleaning: For best results, clean the surface with a damp cloth or water and reapply the coating if necessary.
