The Volcano HotEnd maintains as much compatibility with the E3D ecosystem as possible. You can choose from a range of upgrades, including temperature sensors and heating elements, as well as various nozzle materials and sizes for any desired application.

Faster

Thanks to its larger melt zone, the Volcano HotEnd allows users to print thicker and wider filament layers, resulting in drastically reduced print times.

Stronger

The thick layers printed by the Volcano not only have a shorter print time but also greater interlayer adhesion, bonding together with improved strength. The printed parts are extremely strong, less brittle, and feel significantly more rigid than standard prints.

Larger

With increasing print volumes and growing interest in larger 3D-printed items such as furniture and automotive parts, it becomes necessary to reduce total print time. The Volcano heating block was developed to make printing large parts more efficient by enabling the use of larger nozzle sizes and higher flow rates.
